The Urgent Care and Assessment Team (UCAT) delivers mental health support to individuals in the community.An exciting opportunity has risen within our multi-disciplinary home treatment team which provides assessment and crisis intervention to our local adult residents in Northamptonshire and the North of the county.
The role requires effective communication and leadership skills, autonomous decision making and dynamic risk assessment skills. We are looking for someone that has experience in working in a team, who has a positive attitude but also able to be proactive and work alone when required.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and dynamic individual (RMN/RNLD/OT/Social Worker) to join our fast paced MDT providing a 7day a week, 365day a year service, which operates between the hours of 08:15am to 9:30pm providing the following service; AssessmentsUndertaking holistic biopsychosocial assessments of people in crisis and deciding on a collaborative treatment plan as an alternative to acute inpatient care or signposting to other appropriate community or third sector services.
Home Treatment TeamWorking as part of a close-knit team to deliver high-quality person-centred care in the least restrictive setting. This requires the use of ( as well as being offered training) CBT/DBT skills, de-escalation techniques, managing risks and brief supportive counselling skills, to work towards shared treatment goals with the service user within their social network.The role requires effective communication and leadership skills, autonomous decision making and dynamic risk assessment skills.
