The Role

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and leading the strategy and activity plan for a specific brand/function vertical. This role encompasses the strategic planning as well as including all marketing communications, marketing collateral, advertising and promotional activities both online and offline.

Planning
  • Ownership of the overall brand & marketing strategy and annual plan in line with strategic commercial plans and targets ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
Managing
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and marketing efforts
  • Develop & lead on brand projects & promotional campaign calendar
  • Manage hotel-based advertising, both print & digital
  • Management support of the member's and gift voucher programmes
  • Conduct analysis of guest review data to understand the needs and attitudes of our guests
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activity and the factors influencing the hotel industry
  • Work closely with members of the hotel management & commercial team to identify marketing opportunities & priorities
  • Managing the relevant marketing costs in line with budget expectations
  • Develop a good working relationship & day to day management of our agency partners
  • Support the wider Marketing team in delivering the overall teams objectives.
Reporting
  • Accountable for targeted KPIs
  • Analysing campaign performance
  • Analysing of customer feedback and sentiment
What we look for
  • Experience of delivering results-driven marketing campaigns
  • Creatively translate strategy and insight into operational plans
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal is essential
  • Experience in brand management, specifically the ability to drive brand messaging through multiple channels and segments
  • Results orientated with analytical, commercial acumen
  • Agency management experience
  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • At least 5 years marketing experience gained in hospitality/travel industry
