Teacher of Religious Studies (Permanent or Temporary Considered) - Bedford
Equal Education Partners is currently looking for a dedicated Teacher of Religious Studies to join our client's dynamic team. We are open to considering both permanent and temporary positions based on your preferences and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Religious Studies that engage students and enhance their learning experience.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote improvement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of engaging learning materials.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your teaching practice.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A relevant degree in Religious Studies or a related field.
- A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Religious Studies at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent – full-time, part-time flexibility
Level & Salary: MPS/UPS – £31,650 to £49,084 pa, full time equivalent
(includes 2024 Gov pay increase)
