Responsibilities

As an office manager, you'll need to:

  • Manage online and paper filing systems.
  • Use a range of software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office.
  • Record office expenditures and manage the budget.
  • Files and archives accurate records.
  • Promote staff development and training.
  • Write reports for the director and deliver presentations.
  • Negotiates and manages office insurance contracts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Review and update health and safety policies and ensure they're observed.
  • Check that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data and review and update policies.
  • Processing invoices and managing office budgets.

Qualifications

You can become an office manager with any degree subject or HND, but the following subjects may be particularly helpful:

  • Business administration/business management.
  • Computing and information technology.
  • Human resource management.
  • Management.
  • Public administration.
  • Speaking Arabic.

This role will require you to visit our working sites in London.
