The Restaurant Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of catering assistants in a high-volume outlet.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and manage the team of catering assistants to ensure efficient and effective operation of the restaurant.
• Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere, making all guests feel welcomed and valued.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service and prompt response to guest needs.
• Train and mentor team members, setting performance standards and monitoring progress.
• Handle scheduling and manage staff rosters to cover peak times effectively.
• Oversee the maintenance and presentation of the restaurant area to meet health and safety standards.
• Address and resolve any issues related to customer service or team performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality or catering industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining positive relations with both guests and staff.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff development.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the capability to make quick decisions under pressure.
