Job Purpose

The Relationship Manager (RM) is focused on ensuring that clients are getting value from ICE's Fixed Income & Data Services (FIDS) proposition. It is important that the RM clearly understands clients use cases and ensures that services are set up to meet client's requirements.

To effectively achieve this, the RM needs to develop trust based and value-added relationships with their key contacts. The RM needs to develop understanding of client's business, key initiatives, and business challenges. The RM is also expected to identify new business opportunities and refer them to the appropriate Sales Manager/Specialist.

Responsibilities
  • Work within a team of Relationship Managers on a pooled allocation basis, to service FIDS clients across multiple businesses lines
  • Establish and build new contact relationships within appropriate financial institutions
  • Overall relationship management focused on ensuring clients are getting value from our services
  • Manage expectations on current services and/or any changes to those services which may or not result in a financial impact to the customer or FIDS
  • Acquire in depth understanding of client use cases to ensure services are set up to meet client's requirements
  • Work to grow the business footprint within existing accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities, working with Sales Managers / Specialists who oversee the sale cycle
  • Join efforts on contract re-negotiations, identifying uptick/ downtick and executing appropriately
  • Proactively track and manage erosion, accounts at risk to prevent/reduce erosion
  • Work with the Finance to understand revenue streams, invoices, and client queries
  • Proactively manage and support top tier accounts (within group) holding regular meetings/calls with key stake holders as required
Knowledge and Experience
  • Relationship Management / Client success department experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Financial Markets, supported by relevant sector related qualifications
  • Experience managing complex contract renewal-cycles desirable
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Track record of client engagement
  • Previous Connectivity / Derivatives / Pricing and Reference Data knowledge - an advantage
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • SalesForce or similar CRM experience
