Product Designer - City of London

The Role
We have an opportunity for a Product Designer on a 12 Month fixed term contract to join our Digital Squad within our Chief Information Office (CIO) department.
The Product Designer will be responsible for:
- Leading information gathering, commissioning and implementation of formative and evaluative user research.
- Designing outstanding end-to-end user experiences for PRSfM products.
- Running creative and discovery workshops through to concept development and prototyping.
- Producing both wireframes and fully polished design deliverables across the entire product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
As our Product Designer some of your day to day duties will include…- Take a leading role alongside the Product Manager and Tech Lead in planning, making decisions and shaping the direction of the Squad.
- Create a collaborative work ethic within the Squad, ensuring all members are involved in the design process as appropriate - from ideation to problem solving.
- Partner with Product Managers to define problems and outcomes, analyse customer data, plan, and conduct user research.
- Take a lead role in facilitating and planning workshops and design sprints, fulfilling the needs of the discovery phase and creative ideation sessions within the Squad
- Create detailed UX deliverables including user journeys, sketches and storyboards, site maps, wireframes, navigation models and prototypes in line with the needs of the product. Ensure all UX design output follows best practice.
- Develop process flows, lo-fi wireframes and mid-high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes in Figma for usability testing

About you:

- Extensive experience in sketching out storyboards, user journeys and developing high fidelity prototypes & wireframes for concept development.
- Portfolio that showcases problem space and solution space case studies. A portfolio showcasing a combination of research, UX and UI skills, clear outcomes and impact on the user and business alike.
- In depth knowledge of accessibility (a11y), relating to UK legislation.

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple:
- First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
- Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

Location
We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
