Year 3 Teacher

A fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher in an OFSTED rated 'outstanding' school based in Dulwich. They are looking to hire a Year 3 Teacher to join their staff for the beginning of the 2025 academic year. The school is a devoted to a well-rounded curriculum and encourages diverse and dynamic learning.

They provide excellent opportunities for the children through exciting and creative lessons and outdoor based learning which takes place on their outstanding site.

The school offers state of the art facilities and resources in Dance, Sports, Maths, Music, ICT, Art, English, Science and Filming. They are open, inclusive and supportive as a community. The school is diverse and multi-cultural and pride themselves on developing 'the whole child' with personal development and well-being at the centre of their ethos.

Every pupil is nurtured, and their unique qualities are recognised and celebrated. As a new member of the team, you will work alongside a teaching assistant to plan and deliver lessons to your small year three class.

Year 3 Teacher responsibilities:

  • Planning and teaching the KS2 curriculum to a high standard
  • Nurturing performance within the classroom
  • Ensuring targets are met and exceeded
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom

Year 3 Teacher Requirements:

  • PGCE certification
  • QTS or be an NQT
  • Every Year 3 Teacher applicant must satisfy all requirements to live and work in the UK
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of raising standards across the board
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • An ability to promote effective teaching
  • Enthusiasm commitment and flexibility
