Management Accountant

About Our Client

New Temporary Position in Woking seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts (full Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and cashflow), variance analysis & commentary, for initial review with Head of Finance
• Taking direct ownership of the financial reporting
• Consistent checking and reconciling of all balance sheet items to ensure that the balance sheets are kept clean - investigating and resolving any discrepancies and reconciling items. Prepare your own and review other team member's monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Key contact for the year end Audit process, responding to audit queries that come in from our auditors
• Help with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts and assist in the review of management accounts versus budgets/re forecasts.
• Manage the cash flow process, including the preparation of a 12 week cash flow reporting cash requirements
• Prepare monthly journals including PO accrual, settlement accrual, PP and levy journals, lease journals, reversals, prepayments, general accruals, funding, profit share and deferred revenue journals.
• Additional Management Accounting/accountancy responsibilities
