Preparing your Application To be successful in your application, you will need to have successfully completed full training including preceptorship, demonstrate your knowledge and dedication to high standards of patient care.
You will need to be a reliable, enthusiastic and a self-motivated individual, possessing excellent communication skills and be adaptable to changing situations.
You will need to be friendly and approachable whilst remaining professional.
It is essential that you are reliable, punctual and work well within our services, as well as working under Trust Policy.
We are particularly looking to see in your application Healthcare qualifications particularly NVQ 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate.
(although not essential) Experience in working with people with mental health or learning conditions or experience of being a carer or service user.
Any Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Any experience in Mental Health and/or Learning Disability services.
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and the affect on service users and families.
Evidence of working as a team, in healthcare or other sector.
Understanding of our Trust Values particularly Proud to CARE and SPAR.
