Do you enjoy implementing solutions as part of a collaborative project team?
Do you have knowledge of individual member DB pension calculations?
We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a newly created team which brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from either our Birmingham, Sheffield or Glasgow offices.

What the day will look like- Liaising with stakeholders to gather pension scheme information and change requirements.
- Extracting, analysing, and manipulating membership data in bulk.
- Identifying test scenarios and specifying pension benefit calculations.
- Using Aon’s systems and tools to ensure client projects are delivered to the required standard of quality and timeliness.

Individual development within role will be fast paced, with new and interesting challenges presenting themselves through changes in pensions legislation and industry initiatives.
Skills and experience that will lead to success- Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon
- Have experience of pensions benefit administration
- Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects
- Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate
- Experience in working with MS Excel proforma calculations and/or dealing with membership data in bulk would be an advantage
