Job Description- Process and pay invoices, expense forms and requests for payment
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Support with month-end reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Liaise with suppliers and resolve any financial discrepancies
- Participate in financial audits
- Assist with other accounting projects
- Uphold company values and strive for excellence in all areas of the accounting and finance department
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- An educational background in finance, accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Strong numeracy and organisational skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- An annual salary of £27,000 - £33,000
