An opportunity has arisen to join our team for a client based in St Austell, Cornwall. Our client needs assistance with general care with minimal personal care, helping with dressing along with medication management as well as food and meal preparation.
For this role you must be able to drive as well as have access to your own vehicle. Working Hours: 7 hours per day (9-4pm or 10-5pm) for 5 days a week – the days will change on a weekly basis as their partner also assists caring for the client, giving you variety and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines. Assisting with verbal prompting. Providing emotional support and companionship. Aiding with accessing community. Meal and food preparation. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: Previous experience in PTSD/ Visual Impairment would be beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work the specified hours. Benefits: Supportive and friendly working environment.
