Job Description

Assistant Accountant duties will include:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Process transactions accurately
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Support internal audits and assist with financial analysis
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial procedures
• Assist in the development of junior team members

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• Previous experience in a transactional or accounts-based role
• Experience working in a Construction, engineering or manufacturing background will be beneficial
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on experience
• Hybrid/ home working
