Why might this job interest you?
This is an opportunity for a systemic psychotherapist with CAMHS experience to work within a Community CAMHS service to provide a child and family mental health service. This service provides short-term community based interventions, mid to long-term multidisciplinary interventions and long term specialist treatments and consultation to partnership agencies.
In this role you will be conducting mental health assessments and undertaking Family Work, Family Therapy, NVR and reflective work.
What you can add:
- Specialist generic and discipline specific assessments of referred clients, using interview, and other assessment methods as appropriate.
- Formulate and devise treatment plans for referred clients and to provide interventions using a range of generic and discipline specific models appropriate to the service. This includes both short and long term treatment approaches.
- Contribute to and undertake multidisciplinary assessments and treatment within a clinic based setting.
What you’ll need:
- Degree in psychology, nursing, medicine or social work as well as a post graduate qualification in Psychotherapy
- Registered with UKCP
- Experience working with young people and their families
