Registered Nurse for Mental Health Disabilities (Domiciliary Care)

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in mental health to join our domiciliary care team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to individuals with mental health disabilities, supporting them to achieve their health and personal goals.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to clients with mental health disabilities in their homes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications, monitor mental health conditions, and implement therapeutic interventions.
  • Offer emotional support and counselling to clients and their families, helping them manage mental health challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care, progress, and any changes in condition.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and continuous care.
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid UK Nursing license and PIN.
  • Experience in mental health nursing, preferably within a community or domiciliary setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
