Part Time Accounts Assistant
Location: Hinckley
Hours: 20–25 hours per week
Salary: Dependent on skill set, with a review after 3 months
Job Description:
Hays are exclusively working with a brilliant company in Hinckley who are seeking a detail-oriented and accurate Administrative Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will primarily handle administrative duties, with a strong emphasis on entering invoices into their customer-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering invoices into the systems with precision and accuracy.
- Helping the sales ledger, including chasing payments and resolving queries.
- Helping the purchase ledger, filing, and attaching delivery notes to invoices.
- Checking off statements and posting payments.
- Utilising Sage 50 and Sage Payroll for various accounting tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic accounting skills are advantageous.
- Experience with Sage 50 and Sage Payroll is preferred.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
