Attendance Officer

Your new role

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic School Attendance Officer to join our team at a vibrant school in Dudley.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track student attendance daily.
• Identify and address patterns of absenteeism.
• Communicate with parents and carers regarding attendance issues.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to promote good attendance.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare reports as required.
• Liaise with external agencies when necessary to support student attendance.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of attendance policies and strategies.

• Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using attendance management software and Microsoft Office.
