Project Planner UK
AVK-SEG Ltd is seeking a Project Planner to join our team in the UK for exciting large data centre projects across the UK & Europe. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to a significant venture that is pivotal to our company's success.
As a Project Planner, you will collaborate with our Operation Directors , Senior Project Managers, on-site teams, and subcontractors to establish a comprehensive baseline programme. Your role will involve detailing the specific design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and testing activities that will be executed by AVK and its subcontractors.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing a level 4 detailed schedule for the project delivery.
- Creating cost and labour loading schedules as required.
- Participating in project planning and progress meetings with clients and consultants.
- Producing reports based on information gathered from site engineers.
- Coordinating with Project Managers to ensure accurate updates to the project schedule.
- Integrating AVK's schedule with the master project schedule.
- Reviewing and integrating schedules from subcontractors into AVK's schedule.
- Ensuring all commissioning documentation is in place, approved and signed off.
- Providing weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Preparing weekly lookahead plans.
- Attending weekly pull plan meetings with the main contractor.
- Analyzing critical path impacts for claims or applications.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To be residing in the UK with relevant right to work documentation.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in large-scale, fast-track construction projects.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent communication abilities at all levels.
- Experience with P6 Primavera & MSP or similar scheduling software.
- A basic understanding of the emergency power industry.
