Mobile Air Conditioning Supervisor
Our client, an established building services company, is currently looking for an air conditioning supervisor to join them on a permanent basis.
In this role, the Air Conditioning Supervisor will work mobile and lead a team of air conditioning engineers. It’s a great chance to step into a leadership position where you can make a significant impact. Working hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.Salary depending on experience and qualifications £50k-£52k.
Job Duties
The Air Conditioning Supervisor Job will require:
Lead a dedicated team comprising air conditioning engineers, chiller engineers, improves, and apprentices. This leadership role is vital for ensuring effective collaboration and achieving optimal results.Work closely with the Service Manager to align our objectives and strategies, ensuring that our team operates cohesively and efficiently.
Together, they will strive to enhance our service quality and improve overall service delivery.
The Supervisor will also be responsible for issuing reports to the team, issuing timesheets, dealing with clients, enquiries and developing relationships.
Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled projects and repairs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for the team.
Must be able to work on all types of air conditioning equipment and oversee all the health and safety procedures.
In addition to overseeing routine maintenance, the Air Conditioning Supervisor will also handle reactive call outs, troubleshooting, and fault finding.
Furthermore, they will be responsible for preparing quotations on additional repairs that may be necessary.
Job Requirements
The Air Conditioning Supervisor would require the following qualification or equivalent to: Refrigerant handling qualification (C&G 2079)
F-GAS qualificationRefrigeration & air conditioning qualifications
Minimum six years’ experience in the field
Management training
A time served apprenticeship
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Have a full UK drivers licence
Deep understanding of the refrigeration process and ways to achieve improved performance and being able to demonstrate it.Excellent communication skills to communicate with clients effectively, contractors, and team members.
Job Location
The Air Conditioning Supervisor will be working mobile around the home counties.
Job Offer
PermanentAnnual salary circa £50-£52k dependent on skills and experience.
Annual holiday entitlement is 23 days plus bank holidays.
Overtime is regularly made available, enabling you to potentially earn between £10,000 and £25,000 in extra income per year.
Contribute 4% of the employee’s basic salary (not including bonus payment) to
a personal pension plan through Scottish Widows.
Company vehicle provided which includes; SatNav, tracker, automatictransmission, air conditioning, comfort seating and tools racking.
You will be issued with a fuel card.
The first 6 months of employment will be a probationary period.
