Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Dawlish is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and help students thrive in a specialist learning environment.
Job Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
- Hours: 8:45 am – 3:45 pm (Monday to Friday)
- Pay: £84.50 - £95 per day (based on experience)

About the Role:
This role involves working with students aged 3-19 who have Autism, learning disabilities, communication difficulties, and complex needs. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students develop academic, social, and life skills.
Duties include:
- Assisting teachers in delivering structured learning activities.
- Supporting students with personalised learning plans.
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and communication.
- Helping with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
- Providing pastoral care and safeguarding support.

- Experience in education, care, or SEN settings (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication, patience, and resilience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
