At Octavia, our Care and Support Workers (Care Assistants) are dedicated to providing the best level of care and support to residents across our 6 Extra Care Schemes based in West London, Hounslow and Isleworth. All our Schemes have been awarded Good CQC ratings, two have been given outstanding in Responsiveness.

We offer excellent training and personal development and are looking for Care Assistants wanting to progress their careers with us.

We are looking for dedicated bank staff who will be able to cover shifts as and when required. This role will suit experienced care workers looking for additional shifts or a change, or alternatively suit individuals who want to understand the sector better and gain experience.

What's on offer

Our roles offer non guaranteed hours as they mostly cover times of annual leave, sickness and events across the schemes.

Our rate of pay is £13.85 per hour (Days) and £13.95 per hour (Nights). Once competent you will receive a further pay increase.

We offer a great training programme to ensure you have the best tools to succeed in the role.

We operate across two shift patterns:

Day shifts can either be 7:45am-3pm or 2pm-9:15pm. As a days worker you would be scheduled as required but we would need you to be available for both of these. Our nights shifts are from 9pm-8am.

Requirements

As a Care Assistant, you will be based in one of our Extra Care Schemes, responsible for assisting our residents with personal and practical care. In a typical shift, you'll be washing and dressing residents, assisting with meal preparation and medication as well as providing general companionship.

You can also support our Activity Co-ordinators who organise a range of activities.
