The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting Year 6 students and helping them succeed in their learning.
Role Details: Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant (Year 6) Part-time: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays Hours: Morning sessions Classroom-based and Afternoon interventions Key Responsibilities: Support the Year 6 class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and classroom management.
Work with pupils both individually and in small groups to enhance their learning.Provide tailored interventions in the afternoons to support students in preparation for SATs and their transition to secondary school.
Assist in the development of differentiated learning resources and activities to meet the diverse needs of the students.
Ideal Candidate: Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
Experience working with KS2 students, particularly in Year 6, is highly desirable.Familiarity with the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach to helping children reach their potential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
