The role is ideal for someone with a passion for working with young children and supporting their learning journey.
Role Details: Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant Morning sessions Classroom-based TA and Afternoon group interventions Part-time: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons to KS1 pupils.
Support children with their learning and development within the classroom environment.Provide 1:1 and small group interventions in the afternoons to support children who need additional help.
Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate: Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant, ideally within KS1.Knowledge of the National Curriculum and early years development.
A passionate, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting children/s learning.
Strong communication skills, both with children and staff.
