Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference? Newhouse Academy has a great opportunity for a Cover Supervisor.
We are looking to expand our cover team and are looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor to join us!
Our cover team plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of education during staff absences, and we are committed to ensuring our students receive the best possible experience.
As a Cover Supervisor at Newhouse Academy, you will work closely with our current team; an experienced Cover Supervisor and Cover Manager to ensure smooth and effective classroom management where cover is required.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans and adapting them as necessary.
- Supporting student learning and promoting positive behaviour.
- Collaborating with teaching staff and the Cover Manager to address any issues that arise.
We have just opened a brand new state of art new build which houses; Science, Music, Technology, PE and Aspire our SEN department.
