Your new role
This is a newly created role reporting into an experienced FD and leading a team of circa 3. The company are about to implement a new Accountancy package in 2025 and this role will be involved in the roll-out. Other key duties are below:
- Management and statutory reporting for the Group.
- Company secretarial and tax planning.
- Project management of key initiatives include systems upgrades, implementation of controls and ensuring the finance team is effective and supported.
- Day-to-day financial stewardship including project and category cost coding, approval of payments, VAT returns and month-end reconciliations.
- Supporting project funding activity, including project cost to complete reports.
- Monthly / quarterly management reporting and Group cashflow forecasts.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced Qualified candidate who is happy to mainly be office-based and who enjoys leading a small team. This is a hands-on role and will require flexibility. The ideal candidate would have some exposure to construction or property development and CIS knowledge but this is not essential.
