We are now looking for a Procurement and Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Procurement and Warehouse Assistant, you will have a versatile role, balancing warehouse operations with procurement responsibilities.

Specifically, you will oversee inventory management, efficiently pick and pack orders, and handle deliveries using a Pivot Steer Forklift to ensure the smooth movement of goods.

Your procurement duties will involve sourcing suppliers, raising purchase requests, and maintaining accurate stock levels to support operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for managing stock control processes, preventing overstocking and stock shortages through effective planning and co-ordination.

By maintaining precise records and communicating clearly with suppliers, you will ensure a consistent flow of products within the warehouse and to our Satellite Units across the UK, contributing to a seamless supply chain operation.

Additionally, you will:

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain shipment records
  • Communicate with potential new suppliers and negotiate terms and agreements
  • Oversee a small fleet of company vehicles, ensuring compliance with company policies

About You

To be considered as a Procurement and Warehouse Assistant, you will need:

  • Experience within a procurement environment
  • Warehouse and stock management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A meticulous approach to maintaining accurate stock records
  • A full, valid driving licence
