Are you an innovative English Teacher committed to improving the lives of pupils?
We are looking for a English Teacher for our New Acorn School – Manor Wood School, Bishopsworth. The school will have capacity for 80 pupils and is due to open May 2025. The school will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.

- Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
- Location: Manor Wood School, Bristol, BS13 8AG
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

About the role
As a dynamic and motivated qualified Teacher, you already have a passion for making a difference in the lives of pupils and young people. In this role, you will have every opportunity to live up to this ambition, responding to the needs of each individual as you help them flourish and thrive.
You will plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom. Working as a Teacher with us is not your average teaching role. Our class sizes are small, so you are able to create a nurturing learning environment designed around each individual’s needs, spending quality time with each pupil.You will observe, monitor and assess them, making sure their personal development and wellbeing are as important as the academic curriculum.
- To teach and provide effective delivery of the English curriculum in consultation with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team
- To monitor, record and report on student progress
- To contribute to and help implement developments that relate to the School Development Plan
