Job Title: Future Radar Portfolio Engineering Manager

Salary: Circa £ 80 k + depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and manage engineering teams, subcontractors, and key partnerships to ensure effective delivery of programme objectives
• Plan and oversee engineering activities to ensure products are safe, compliant, integrated, and delivered to cost, quality, and schedule requirements
• Define and allocate resources across the project lifecycle, ensuring efficient use of skills and capabilities within agreed limits
• Resolve integration and technical issues, ensuring solutions are clearly defined, controlled, and aligned across disciplines
• Support team development through skills planning, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure product solutions meet contractual and technical specifications

Your skills and experience:

• Strong understanding of engineering principles across multiple disciplines, with the ability to interpret and assess technical issues in a wider programme context
• In-depth knowledge of Engineering Planning, Engineering Maturity, and the full Engineering Lifecycle
• Proven experience in Project Management and leading complex technical bids
