Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Team Manager for our Occupational Therapy department. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our multidisciplinary team, supporting our mission to provide exceptional care to our clients.The Assistant Team Manager will have the opportunity to work closely with licensed occupational therapists, assist in the management of care plans, and contribute to the development of therapeutic programs aimed at enhancing clients' functional abilities.
Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to serving individuals with diverse needs, ensuring that they receive the highest quality of support and guidance throughout their rehabilitation process. You will also play a key role in staff development, including training and mentoring junior staff and assisting in administrative tasks that keep our department running smoothly.
A pivotal function of this position includes collaborating with other health professionals to deliver integrated therapy services. ResponsibilitiesAssist the Team Manager in daily operational tasks and administrative duties.
Support the development and implementation of client treatment plans under the supervision of licensed therapists.
Coordinate client assessments and ensure timely documentation of therapy services.
Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment.
Participate in team meetings, providing updates on client progress and feedback on therapy programs.
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and interns within the occupational therapy team.
Monitor resources and maintain supplies necessary for effective therapy execution.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
Current certification or licensure in Occupational Therapy (or eligibility for certification).
Previous experience in an occupational therapy or healthcare setting preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to demonstrate compassion and understanding when working with diverse populations.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant software tools.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £28.61
