Job Description
  • Oversee and manage community engagement strategies and initiatives
  • Liaise with local communities, stakeholders, and partner organisations
  • Develop and implement property strategies in line with community needs
  • Organise and facilitate community events and meetings
  • Gather and analyse feedback from community engagement activities
  • Promote the organisation's mission and values within the community
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of community engagement practices
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

The Successful Applicant

A successful Community Engagement Officer should have:

  • A degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Proven experience in community engagement, ideally within a not-for-profit setting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of property strategies and housing regulations
  • A passion for community development and social justice
