Job Description- Oversee and manage community engagement strategies and initiatives
- Liaise with local communities, stakeholders, and partner organisations
- Develop and implement property strategies in line with community needs
- Organise and facilitate community events and meetings
- Gather and analyse feedback from community engagement activities
- Promote the organisation's mission and values within the community
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of community engagement practices
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
The Successful Applicant
A successful Community Engagement Officer should have:
- A degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Proven experience in community engagement, ideally within a not-for-profit setting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of property strategies and housing regulations
- A passion for community development and social justice
- A competitive salary ranging from £19.80 to £24.20 per hour
