BMS Project Manager

What You Will Do:
The BMS Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery within their designated region. Responsibilities include sales-to-operations handovers, supply chain engagement, managing engineers, and ensuring successful project completion and post-completion support.This role offers varied daily tasks and involves close collaboration with customers, account management, Construction Managers, and project engineering teams.

How You Will Do It:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors
- Conduct sales handovers to understand the scope of work
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental management for all projects in your portfolio
- Provide direction, control, and implementation of projects
- Manage the commercial performance of projects
- Monitor, review, and report project progress to customers, senior PMs, leaders, and staff
- Drive standardization across the organization
- Engage with Supply Chain & Subcontract organizations, manage third-party contracts, project quality, and commercial accounts
- Provide regular reports to project leadership
- Undertake risk reviews
- Maintain relevant professional certifications and licenses
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Validate assumptions during solution design, build detailed cost estimates and scopes of work, assist in proposals and other customer communications
What We Look For:
Required:
- Experience in BMS and control systems
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry
- Ability to manage and influence internal & external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
- Experience managing large projects (£2-£4M in value) with a track record of successful delivery
- Team player with experience managing remote resources
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Valid CSCS site card & SSSTS certification
Preferred:
- Experience in datacentres/critical infrastructure environments
- Experience with construction sites and M&E main contractors
- High-level BMS knowledge and understanding of engineering principles
- Knowledge of Metasys, Tridium, Trend, or other BMS platforms
