Over the course of four days, you’ll get to:
- Show your skills and passion during interactive learning sessions, skills workshops, and work shadowing opportunities
- Complete real-life case studies that will help you understand what we mean by ’thinking digital-first’ when we develop new products and services
- Develop confidence in a business setting and understand more about our technology teams
- Work with mentors from various technology teams supporting different Global Businesses and Functions
- Connect with female colleagues who will share experiences and advice from their own career journeys
- Meet members of our Employee Resource Groups to learn more about the work they do to support women in the bank
- Determine whether a career in technology would suit you. And if it would, how to take the next step.
This programme is aimed primarily at female students, who are keen to learn about technology and how it’s used in the financial industry.
By the end of your four days with us:
- Technology within banking will no longer be a mystery. You’ll have a good grasp of the roles people play so you can decide if a career with us is right for you
- You’ll understand what our teams across Cyber, Data and Engineering, and see how we’re using emerging technologies to deliver digital-first banking for our customers
- You’ll have experienced our culture first-hand and learned all about our global strategy, ESG goals, Employee Resource Groups, and above all, our people
- You’ll have developed skills that will help you with future internship applications
