The starting salary for the first year is £23,795.20 rising to £24,960 in year two.

Key responsibilities and role requirements will include:

  • Lifting heavy goods safely and correctly, including white goods,furniture , unpacking palletised goods etc
  • Picking orders, checking onto vans and securing loads
  • Receiving and checking goods in and putting in correct locations
  • Attention to detail is crucial for this role, you need to be able to spot minor differences between products and labelling
  • Positive attitude towards being busy.
  • Participation in relevant training.
  • To be able to work in a close knit team and follow instructions of the Supervisor as well as demonstrating the ability to know what routine tasks need doing and carry them out whilst waiting for further instruction.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Proficiency in picking & packing
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
  • Experience in shipping & receiving
  • Ability to stock inventory efficiently
  • Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
  • Understanding of quality control procedures
  • Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks
  • Skill in loading & unloading goods
