Job Description:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in the classroom to enhance learning opportunities for students. Your primary duties will include:
Job Duties:
- Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and activities
- Supporting individual students with their learning needs
- Helping to create and maintain a positive learning environment
- Supervising students during class and break times
- Providing feedback to teachers on student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
Education:
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within a school environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Good understanding of child development and learning processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a school setting, following the school term calendar. This role may require some flexibility in working hours to accommodate school events and activities.
