About the Role
As a Teacher of Music, you will join a collaborative and innovative Music department, responsible for:
- Setting high expectations for all learners and delivering an inspiring music curriculum to students in Years 7 to 13.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that are well-prepared and reflect a range of teaching methods to meet student needs.
- Assessing student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly, and providing regular feedback.
- Recording and reporting on students’ progress, attendance, and development.
- Using ICT, literacy, numeracy, and your specialist knowledge to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintaining discipline in line with the school’s procedures and promoting high standards of punctuality, behaviour, and homework.
This part-time position offers a permanent contract.

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status and has experience working in a secondary school.
