We are seeking an ambitious and committed Head of Religious Education to lead our RE department and champion the Catholic life of the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the spiritual and moral development of our students while delivering a rigorous and engaging RE curriculum that reflects the teachings of the Church and the realities of the modern world.
As Head of Department, you will play a key role in upholding and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school. You’ll lead a team of dedicated staff, ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all key stages, and contribute meaningfully to the liturgical life of the school community.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and delivery of high-quality RE across all key stages
- Promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all students
- Foster a deep understanding of Catholic teachings and values in an inclusive and inspiring way
- Contribute to the wider Catholic life of the school through assemblies, liturgies, and faith-based activities
- Collaborate with staff to ensure the continued development of our Catholic identity
