Person specification

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Essential criteria
  • Substantial post Reg Experience within ED including proven experience at band 6
  • Evidence of professional / specialist clinical and managerial expertise and knowledge acquired through CPD and experience
  • Evidence of leadership, management and team development at clinical level
  • Evidence of involvement and leadership in teaching and mentoring learners
  • Evidence of involvement in the development of protocols and clinical audit

Qualifications & Registration

Essential criteria
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Degree level studies or equivalent portfolio of evidence
Desirable criteria
  • Management/ leadership qualification
  • Post basic qualification in speciality
