We require an enthusiastic and committed teacher, to deliver Citizenship as part of our Social and Economic Studies Faculty. Applications from both experienced and Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) would be warmly welcomed. For ECTs we provide a two year induction programme; including support from both a subject and induction mentor throughout.
ECTs have an opportunity to network both in school and during training delivered by our Induction Partner. We also offer a teacher development programme for our teacher’s in their third year of teaching. Teachers of Citizenship, in the Social and Economic Studies Faculty, usually teach some lessons of Personal Social Ethics (PSE) in addition to their main subject.

Our carefully planned curriculum for this subject and enthusiastic support and professional development makes this a great opportunity for teachers in our team.

  • An outstanding Citizenship department with well-established Core Citizenship lessons that are taught weekly to all students in KS3 and KS4 alongside GCSE Citizenship as an optional subject in KS4
  • A strong and successful Social and Economic Studies Faculty with 11 specialist staff.
  • Provision for all Year 12 and 13 Students to be taught a period of Personal, Social Ethics each week
