The Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to implement effective learning strategies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Support students in developing communication, independence, and confidence.
- Contribute to the wider school community and ethos.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from experienced teachers and those new to special education. Ideal candidates will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.
- A creative and adaptable and playful approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
