• Support the Senior Finance Manager to prepare, and critically review, the divisional monthly results
• Prepare and present monthly reporting and interpretations of divisional financial performance by activity and/or area
• Visit sites to challenge financial performance and coach financial awareness
• Prepare accurate monthly financial reports to guide strategic decision-making.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Perform cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure financial compliance.
• Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
• Drive process improvements within the finance department.
• Provide financial expertise and advice to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A strong academic background in accounting or finance.
• Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A competitive salary ranging from £40,500 to £49,500 per year.
