Carry out reception duties as required by the department, following department procedures and in line with the required start and finish times.
  • Act as the first point of contact for dealing with enquiries either face to face or on the telephone.
  • Deal with high volume of telephone calls assisting with enquiries and making suitable appointments, also dealing with emails that come into the department assisting with enquiries.
  • Transcribe clinical dictation from the Virtual Fracture Clinic and any other ad hoc correspondence.
  • Making outpatient appointments and cashing up clinics.
