As a Handy Person, you will be:
You will be working as part of a team assisting in the delivery of our estate services to provide a high standard of maintenance in communal areas, within our blocks, and on our estates.You will be carrying out pre-planned projects involving painting, decorating, grounds work, and general improvement of schemes, as well as some minor maintenance where necessary.
You will also be liaising directly with L&Q staff, residents, and contractors and you must have due regard to health & safety and security issues.
Your attributes
Capable of carrying out a variety of repair jobs and able to work effectively as part of a team and under your own initiative.Capable of trade skills or DIY or Gardening experience is essential.
A good communicator and willing to learn new skills as the service adapts to the changing needs within the Trust.
Confident working remotely as part of a team therefore you must have good interpersonal skills and be able to arrange work schedules and plan the implementation of work.
Be self-motivated, proactive, and able to organise your time effectively and be aware of safe working practices.
If you don’t have previous experience or qualifications but are willing to learn, have ambition, enthusiasm, and care about delivering a first-class service to our residents we would like to hear from you.
