You bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC, as well as post-registration experience. You're passionate about patient care and it shows. As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will: Pre Operative Assessing patients undergoing a variety of operations including Orthopaedic, General Surgery , Urological , Gynaecology , Cosmetic and Plastic surgery .
We require you to have a good knowledge of history taking , understand the variety of procedures performed , health assessment and promotion and treat the patient in a holistic manner that incorporates a thorough assessment of the patients health condition , social circumstances and post operative recovery .

You will be familiar with Venipuncture , ECG recording and demonstrate good communication skills. Computer skills and professionalism in communicating with Consultant Surgeons and Anaesthetists is essential Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron led care in a consultant-led service Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key Helping you feel good.
