Full Time - 37.5 Hours
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiography Assistant to join the team at Yorkshire Clinic, where you will provide a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team. All tasks conducted are under the direction of a Consultant Radiologist or Registered Radiographer.
Where you'll be based
Yorkshire Clinic, Bingley
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and running of Consultant led Ultrasound clinics
- Assisting with minor procedures e.g. Ultrasound guided injections
- Assisting in MRI/CT clinics, patient positioning, safety questionnaires, providing fundamental care to patients
- Face to face and telephone communication with patients, consultants and hospital staff
- Administrative duties including booking appointments, post documenting US examinations and billing patients.
What you'll bring with you:
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills
- Demonstrated Computer Skills
- Experience of working in Radiology Department (desirable)
- Experience of working in the Independent health sector (desirable)
- NVQ level 2/3 in healthcare (desirable), if not then care certificate in healthcare is essential.
