Do you enjoy connecting with children and making a difference? We are seeking an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant in Birmingham to support and engage with students on the autism spectrum. Pay rate: £85-£95 a day, dependent on experience. Start: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-2-1 support to students with diverse needs, including Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and behavioral challenges.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Collaborate with the staffing team within the school to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs.
- Compassionate and patient character.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Driving license preferred but not required if you have adequate travel arrangements.
