About the Role:
The Business Development Senior Specialist – Finance is an integral part of Latham’s Business Development team. This role will be responsible for working in close collaboration with key market leaders and colleagues across the Business Development (BD) department to support the Finance practice areas, while developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of practice, market, and industry expertise, client mix, matter experience, trade groups, and media, and using this to develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans.
This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Other key responsibilities include:
- Providing research, analysis, and reporting to support the identification and development of new clients and the enhancement of existing client relationships
- Aiding in the execution of cross-selling strategies, including collaborating with relevant BD teams
- Collaborating with lawyers, BD, and Brand & Communications teams on speaking opportunities, webinars, and other visibility initiatives
- Developing internal communications to inform relevant practice and industry groups of significant achievements, developments, and market synergies
- Assisting with the creation and maintenance of written marketing materials and website content, including practice profiles and relevant experience lists

- Possess the ability to execute multiple work streams and manage priorities effectively
- Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills
And have:
- A high school diploma or an equivalent
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent in finance, business administration, economics, marketing, or a related field, preferably
- Related subject matter experience and related analytical experience
- Relevant experience working within finance practice areas, preferably
