2PQE In-house Commercial Solicitor (Newcastle/Leeds)

An incredible opportunity has arisen at one of the leading law firms in Leeds and Newcastle in their established in-house legal team for a solicitor with ideally 2 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contracts and data protection work.

This role will require the successful candidate to work closely alongside two other experienced lawyers providing advice on legal and regulatory matters. It will involve engaging directly with senior stakeholders across virtually all of my client's organisation inclusive of fee earning and business services departments.

My client is keen to recruit a solicitor who has a good knowledge of commercial/contract law and would be particularly interested in solicitors with a keen interest in data protection compliance and AI. A more descriptive list of duties can be provided for any candidates interested in this position.

Anyone wishing to apply for this role must be a qualified solicitor as this role is not suitable for anyone who is currently working at sub-qualification level. Hybrid working is available with this role, but candidates must live within commutable distance of my client's Leeds or Newcastle office as there will be the expectation to attend the office on 2 days a week.
