Salary: £450 - £500 per day via Umbrella

Our client, a prominent organisation in the utilities industry, is seeking a dedicated Project Supervisor to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of control and instrumentation projects. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects within budget and timeline constraints. As a Project Supervisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Design:- Developing designs and schematics in collaboration with third-party suppliers
- Providing technical input during the design phase and site works
- Working with specifications and material requisitions for control systems and instruments
- Conducting feasibility studies and site surveys to review design alternatives
- Collaborating with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and clients to gather necessary information
- Maintaining high-quality standards for project deliverables
- Installing and commissioning instrument control systems
- Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of work
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Participating actively in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise
- Providing technical support for control and instrumentation engineering
- Managing technical queries and ensuring satisfactory resolutions
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and delivering it on schedule
- Understanding the project lifecycle and developing relevant project documentation
- Communicating effectively to address customer feedback and billing requirements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing interface with other engineering disciplines
- Representing our client in a professional manner during interactions with customers
Qualifications:
- Degree, HND HNC in Instrumentation and Control or equivalent professional qualification
- SUEPEE & Intrinsic Safety Training
- Previous experience in control and instrumentation engineering
- Possess a full UK driving licence
- Relevant training in control systems & HMIs (e.g., Rockwell, DeltaV, Wonderware, Siemens)
- Previous site works experience
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines
