The Medicines Evaluation programme is looking to appoint a programme manager for planning and operations.
Working with the Associate Director for Planning & Operations, the post holder will lead the scoping and committee operations teams. They will provide leadership to both teams, ensuring the objectives and processes for both are contributing effectively to the development of guidance and representing these two functions across the organisation.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate excellent leadership and experience of complex programmes of work involving multi-disciplinary teams. You should have strong programme and project management skills, and a high drive and determination to complete tasks where work is unpredictable and deadlines are tight.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- Masters degree or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and further training/development
Experience
Essential criteria- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a range of audiences and to generate trust and confidence in individuals at all levels both within and outside the organisation

Essential criteria- Line management experience, including experience in providing leadership and support to team members

Desirable criteria- Experience of designing and delivering training and information resources to meet the needs of stakeholder groups
